SCOTT SNYDER >> STEVE FOSSEN
Bass Guitar  Scott Snyder has been described as
being "born with a bass player's soul." He's a highly skilled in-the-pocket bassist
who exhibits impeccable intuitiveness and groove. Born and raised in Chicago, from the beginning,
he was brought up listening to bands like Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Kansas, Weather Report, and Earth,
Wind and Fire; all influences from his older bass-playing brother's record collection and an
early start for Scott as a serious musician. It wasn't long, before Scott found himself very busy
playing for several local bands.Scott later moved to California in the eighties.
He immediately hit the streets to network and play in the big hair, big ego L.A. music scene, opening
for acts like Guns & Roses, Poison, Judist Priest and even Van Halen." He was soon busy putting down
bass tracks in the studio for numerous original acts, eventually meeting up with Sean Clegg, and forming
the progressive rock band Accomplice. Scott's talent and ability soon gained him recognition
and the opportunities to work with such notables as: Kelly Hanson of Hurricane;
Chaz West of Bahnamm; Dave Moreno of L.A. Guns; Johnny Gioli and Josh Ramos of Hardline; famed
producer Andy Johns, who produced The Rolling Stones, Van Halen, and Led Zepplin; keyboardist Derek
Sherinian of Dream Theater, Yngwie Malmsteen, Alice Cooper and others; and legendary drummer
Simon Phillips.Scott, a versatile musician, playing
drums and keys as well, is a natural showman, with energy and humor that consistently infects band
mates and audience members alike. Still recording with Accomplice and providing session work for other
recording acts, Scott recently has been playing with Lizann, Sean, and Dave in the top-40 band Sugar Box.
So, when Lizann needed a bassist, for this ultimate Heart tribute, she was quick to call on fellow
bandmate and long-time friend, Scott, to supply his unmatched talents as bassist for
